This year’s race features four distances: 10km, 25km, 55km, and 100km. The routes pass through famous cloud-hunting spots such as the “dinosaur spine” ridge, the ancient Shan Tuyet tea forest in Bẹ hamlet, the “dinosaur waterfall,” and the villages of the Mong ethnic community in Ta Xua.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, runners competing in the challenging 100km category began their race. The remaining distances are scheduled for December 6 and 7.

Taking place from December 5 to 7, the Son La Ultra Trail 2025 is not only a sporting event but also an opportunity for Ta Xua commune to promote its tourism potential, especially cloud-hunting tourism, eco-tourism, and community-based experiences.

The event also provides a platform to showcase local agricultural products and homestay services, creating momentum for tourism-driven economic development and contributing to Ta Xua’s goal of becoming an attractive destination for both domestic and international visitors.
