The tournament gathered 46 delegations nationwide, with 1,460 participants including athletes, coaches, and staff. Athletes competed for 226 sets of medals across various categories: individual sparring (four age groups: under 12, 12-14, 15-17, and over 18); team sparring (three age groups: 12-14, 15-17, and 18 and above); as well as technical disciplines such as standard poomsae, creative poomsae, and team performance.

The Son La team jointed the tournament with three coaches and 20 athletes, competing in all three disciplines: individual sparring, team sparring, and standard poomsae.

The championship was an opportunity for athletes nationwide to exchange experience, sharpen their skills and tactics, while also serving as a platform to assess professional levels, and identify promising talents for the national and youth Taekwondo teams.
