Son La wins bronze medal at National 7-a-side Women’s Football Championship – Carefor Cup 2025

The Son La team secured a bronze medal at the National 7-a-side Women’s Football Championship – Carefor Cup 2025, which took place in Hanoi from November 15-22.

The tournament featured 12 teams from provinces, cities, and universities nationwide. Teams competed in two categories. In the Queen Cup category, six teams represented localities and enterprises: Son Toa Khang Cat, Tri Dung, Phu Dong Ben Tre, SHB, Thanh Nam Star, and Son La.

The Princess Cup brought together six university student teams from Bac Ninh University of Sports and Physical Education (UPES1), National Economics University (NEU), Dai Nam University (DNU), Hanoi University of Industry, East Asia University of Technology, and FPT Polytechnic College.

This was the second year the tournament had been held, following the success of its inaugural season in 2024.

The 18-strong Son La team played with great enthusiasm and dedication, delivering exciting matches and securing the bronze medal, ranking 3rd among the six participating provinces and cities.
