Vietnam off-road motor racing championship 2025 kicks off in Son La

The Vietnam off-road motor racing championship 2025 revved into action in Son La province on March 29-30, bringing together more than 100 riders from over 20 countries and territories.

The tournament was co-organised by the Moc Chau Island – Bach Long Glass Bridge Tourist Area, the Moc Chau Enduro Off-Road Motorcycle Club, and the Moc Chau township.

The championship featured two competition classes: semi-professional and professional, with riders tackling a demanding 10km course filled with diverse terrains, including rocky streambeds, steep dirt slopes, technical obstacles, and winding mountain passes. The race followed a timed individual format, with riders battling it out in the qualifying rounds before advancing to the finals.

Thorough preparation and rigorous training paid off as riders delivered breathtaking chases on the rugged track, drawing a massive crowd of fans, locals, and tourists both in and outside the province.

The championship not only provided a thrilling platform for off-road riders to showcase their skills but also played a key role in promoting tourism, helping draw more visitors to the Moc Chau National Tourist Area, especially to the Moc Chau Island tourist site.
