The event was attended by Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ha Trung Chien, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Department of Construction Dao Tai Tue, among others.
BIM Group is a multi-sector private economic group operating in real estate, agriculture and food, renewable energy and consumer services. A representative of the group spoke highly of Son La’s potential, particularly that of the Moc Chau National Tourism Area in terms of climate, landscape and cultural identity.
The group also expressed interest in studying investment in resort tourism, urban development, services and agriculture projects linked to product processing and consumption. It proposed working with the province to survey potential sites and identify feasible projects in line with the locality’s development orientation.
At the working session, participants discussed several areas in which BIM Group is considering investment, including the current status of land use, the proposed scale and boundaries of projects, connectivity with transport and technical infrastructure, and requirements related to planning, land, the environment, site clearance, as well as project implementation procedures.
Speaking at the working session, the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee welcomed BIM Group’s interest, ideas and proposals, affirming that Son La is committed to accompanying investors and creating favourable conditions for them to study and implement projects that are appropriate and compliant with the law.
He asked BIM Group to continue conducting thorough research into and surveys of the potential, planning and development space of the Moc Chau area. Based on its strengths and experience, the group was encouraged to propose suitable investment ideas and projects that ensure integrated development of urban areas, tourism and services while preserving the landscape and environment and promoting local cultural identity.
Provincial departments, agencies and local authorities were asked to coordinate in providing BIM Group with information on planning, land and other relevant conditions so that the group can study and propose suitable investment options, helping effectively tap the locality’s potential and advantages, improve the quality of tourism products and promote local socio-economic development./.
