Programme provides meals for students in Thuan Chau district

The Youth Committee of the Son La provincial Department of Public Security on October 26-27 collaborated with Koja Mart JSC from Hanoi in organizing a programme to provide meals for students and donate computer rooms for schools in Thuan Chau district.

The "Warm Meals in the Highlands" programme took place at the Lau Tong facility of the Nam Lau Primary and Secondary School, and the Cu Cang facility of the Chieng Ly Primary and Secondary School.

Representatives from the two units donated two computer rooms valued at 100 million VND (4,000 USD) to the school facilities, along with the youth project, entitled "I Understand - I Am Safe," which promotes laws on drug prevention and human trafficking combat.

Additionally, they prepared meals for 850 students, valued at 50 million VND. Many school supplies, including notebooks and pens worth 40 million VND, as well as 850 pairs of sandals worth 20 million VND, were also delivered. The total value of the programme exceeded 200 million VND.

The representatives from Koja Mart and the Youth Committee of the provincial Department of Public Security symbolically present a computer room to the Lau Tong facility of the Nam Lau Primary and Secondary School.

This programme contributed to meeting the needs of the two schools in teaching computer science, thus enhancing their educational quality.

The delegation presents gifts to students at the Cu Cang facility of the Chieng Ly Primary and Secondary School in Thuan Chau district.
