In response to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses," since the beginning of this year, Quang Minh commune in Van Ho district has conducted surveys, made assessments, and compiled a list of households eligible for housing support.

Implementing a programme to develop digital citizens and promote cashless payments, 26,296 out of 26,415 households in Son La city, or 99.55%, are using smartphones. The number of citizens aged 14 and over with transaction accounts at banks or other licensed organisations reaches 84.62%, or 70,042 out of 82,774 people.

During the five-day holiday from April 30 to May 4, Son La province’s traffic police deployed forces and vehicles to conduct patrols and ensure traffic safety and order on roads and waterways. As a result, they detected 583 cases of road traffic safety violations, imposed fines of more than 1.7 billion VND (65,400 USD), revoked seven driving licences, and temporarily detained 263 vehicles.
