Implementing the Government's Project 06, the provincial Department of Public Security has directed units, and district and city police to focus on issuing electronic identification accounts for residents.
It has coordinated with departments, agencies and organisations to promote dissemination of regulations and guide people to register, activate and use electronic identification accounts, and use VNeID app in handling administrative procedures and conduct civil transactions.
To date, the province has had 637,905 electronic identification accounts approved, of which 544,646 were activated, contributing to supporting people in using online public services.
