Company ensures quality of public utility services across Son La

Son La Environment and Urban Services JSC on June 30 held a conference to review its performance during the first six months and outline key tasks for the remaining of this year.

 
 

Son La Environment and Urban Services JSC reviews six-month performance and outlines key tasks for the remaining of this year.

The company currently operates six enterprises, one single-member limited liability company - Son La Urban Services One Member Co., Ltd. - and 11 branches in communes and wards across the province. It provides public utility services throughout the province with a workforce of nearly 600 permanent employees and 200 seasonal contract workers, of whom about 80% are directly engaged in service delivery.

During the first half, the company proactively carried out its production and business activities, ensuring the progress and quality of all signed contracts. The total value of signed contracts exceeded 320 billion VND (12.16 million USD), up 10.1% compared to 2025 and reaching 93.6% of the 2026 annual target. The value of completed and accepted work was estimated at nearly 150 billion VND. In the public utility sector alone, the company signed 25 contracts with a total value of more than 247 billion VND.

Waste collection, transportation, and treatment services were maintained regularly, with about 34,997 tonnes of household waste collected and transported during the period, averaging more than 230 tonnes per day. The company also effectively maintained green spaces, operated the public lighting system, improved the urban landscape, and supported political, cultural, and social events held across the province.

In the second half of 2026, the company will continue to improve the quality of public utility services, strengthen inspections and supervision at the grassroots level, and promptly address any emerging issues. It will also work closely with local authorities to resolve difficulties in contract implementation, review actual workloads, and develop appropriate plans for the coming period. 

In addition, the company will continue investing in vehicles, machinery, and equipment to enhance management efficiency, contributing to the development of a bright, green, clean, and beautiful urban environment.
