With the theme “Chieng An – The Echo of Arabica and the Essence of Herbal Tea,” the delegation surveyed and experienced a variety of distinctive local tourism products, such as visiting the Tong Xet ancient apricot village; picking apricots and making apricot syrup in the orchard; touring and tasting Arabica coffee at Chieng Xet Agricultural Cooperative and Phuc Sinh Son La JSC; and exploring the cultural tourism potential of the Thai ethnic community in Hum hamlet.
The survey trip provided travel businesses with a practical and comprehensive view of Chieng An ward’s tourism potential and strengths, while also enabling them to assess the quality of services such as cuisine, entertainment, experiential activities, and shopping. Based on this, proposals can be made to develop and connect tourism routes and tours, create new products, and enhance promotion to attract more visitors to Chieng An.
