National Assembly Vice President pays tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at Son La temple

Nguyen Thi Hong, member of the Party Central Committee and Vice President of the National Assembly (NA), on October 10 led a delegation to offer incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his temple in Tay Bac (Northwest) Square, Son La province as part of her visit to attend the second Son La Coffee Festival 2026.

Joining the delegation were Hoang Van Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the province’s delegation to the NA; members of the Standing Board of the provincial People’s Council; and representatives of the provincial delegation to the NA.

In a solemn and reverent atmosphere, Hong, members of the delegation and provincial representatives offered incense and expressed their profound gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, the revered leader of the Party and the Vietnamese people, who devoted his whole life to the struggle for national liberation and the construction and safeguarding of the country.

The delegates pledged to uphold the nation’s revolutionary traditions, maintain their confidence in the Party’s leadership and remain steadfast on the path chosen by the Party and President Ho Chi Minh. They also reaffirmed their commitment to further studying and following his ideology, morality, methods and style.

They promised to strengthen their sense of responsibility and solidarity to overcome challenges and fulfil their assigned duties, contributing to the continued development of Son La province and the building of a prosperous, strong and civilised Vietnam./.
