The meeting saw the presence of leaders of the provincial People’s Council's Standing Board; members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Vice Chairpersons of the provincial People’s Committee; leaders of the Party Committee of the provincial Party agencies, the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee, the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Council, and Party-affiliated public service units.

In the third quarter of 2026, the provincial Party Committee’s advisory and support agencies proactively advised on the implementation of the 2026 work programme and other new required tasks. Party building was carried out comprehensively across various areas, including organisational structure, personnel, internal political security, grassroots Party organisations, Party members and personnel policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, timeliness and quality. Efforts to consolidate grassroots Party organisations and improve the quality of Party members yielded positive results, with 93.6% of Party members logging in to and using the “Electronic Party Member Handbook.”

Inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline have been carried out comprehensively, with a focus on advising on the issuance of leadership and direction documents, conducting thematic supervision, providing professional guidance to Party committees directly under the provincial Party Committee, and accelerating digital transformation in the Party inspection sector.

Publicity and mass mobilisation work has been effectively implemented across areas including communications, press, publishing, culture, arts, education and science, and oral dissemination. Agencies have proactively monitored ideological developments and public opinion, worked to counter false and hostile views, and effectively carried out information for foreign service.

The provincial Party Committee's Office has continued to promote its role as a hub for information, effectively serving the leadership and direction of the provincial Party Committee. It also gave advicec on the implementation of the work programme for the third quarter of 2026 and the implementation of conclusions and directions issued by the Party Central Committee and the provincial Party Committee.

The provincial School of Poltics has proactively advised on a plan to achieve Level 2 standard status by 2030. Attention has been paid to improving the quality of training and retraining, scientific research, practical reviews and digital transformation, while the teaching staff has been gradually standardised to meet task requirements.

Son La Newspaper and Radio-Television has continued to renew the content and formats of its communications across various types of media. Its converged, multi-platform and multi-format newsroom model has gradually been put into smooth operation, providing timely and comprehensive coverage of the province’s economic, cultural, social, defence-security and external relations, meeting the public’s needs.

In his concluding remarks, Hung asked the provincial Party Committee’s advisory and support agencies and Party-affiliated public service units to review and effectively implement their 2026 work plans; strictly observe discipline and administrative rules, uphold the responsibility and exemplary role of officials and Party members, particularly heads of agencies and units; and improve the quality of the contingent of officials, civil servants and public employees.

He also called for effective prevention and control of corruption, wastefulness and other negative practices, and for the management and use of public finances and assets in accordance with regulations, ensuring thrift and efficiency. At the same time, he urged the agencies to accelerate digital transformation and administrative reform within Party agencies and conduct the assessment and classification of collectives and individuals for 2026 in accordance with regulations./.
