After two days of competition from April 22–23, the 2026 Excellent Rapporteur Contest organised by the provincial Border Guard Command concluded successfully, meeting all planned objectives with a strong sense of urgency, discipline and responsibility.

Inspection and Supervision Delegation No. 29 of the Party Central Committee’s Politburo and Secretariat, led by Nguyen Dung Tien, deputy chief of the Office of the State President and deputy head of the delegation, and Le Thi My Hanh, member of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission and deputy head of the delegation, held a working session with the provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Board on April 23.

The People’s Committee of Son La province and Bach Mai Hospital on April 18 held a conference to strengthen the province’s healthcare capacity and signed an agreement on comprehensive healthcare cooperation for the 2026–2031 period.

Nguyen Minh Tien, Vice Chairman of the Son La provincial People’s Committee, on April 16 chaired a meeting on the progress of site clearance, construction, and public investment disbursement for projects across the province. The meeting was connected online to communes and wards.

Son La province held a ceremony on April 12 at Tay Bac Square to respond to the National Health Day 2026, themed “Proactive Disease Prevention – For a Healthy Vietnam,”

The Son La provincial Department of Home Affairs and authorities of Jeonju city in Jeollabuk province, the Republic of Korea (RoK), on April 10 signed an agreement to send seasonal agricultural workers from Son La to the RoK.

Division 326 under Military Region 2 held a conference in Sop Cop commune on April 10 to review Phase 2 and receive volunteers for Phase 3 of the project on strengthening the deployment of young volunteer intellectuals to the Song Ma defence-economic zone for the 2021-2030 period.

Regiment 754 under the Son La provincial Military Command on April 9 held a contest for outstanding political lecturers and rapporteurs.

Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Dinh Viet on April 7 presided over the contract signing ceremony for the urban renovation project in Sub-zone 1, Yen Chau town and the rural residential area in Vieng Lan commune, Yen Chau district (now Yen Chau commune). The project is implemented by Thang Long 369 Real Estate Exchange JSC.

The provincial Cooperative Alliance on April 7 held a ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s call on landowners and farmers to join Vietnam’s cooperatives, and to honour outstanding role models in 2026.
