Reading festival draws nearly 850 education administrators, teachers, and students

The provincial Youth Activity Centre organised a reading festival themed “Aspiration to Soar into the Future” on April 17 at Chieng Pac Primary and Secondary School in Thuan Chau commune, attracting nearly 850 education administrators, teachers, and students.

At the event, the organising committee donated a bookcase with nearly 310 titles of various genres to the school library.

Within the framework of the programme, many lively and engaging activities took place. The “Golden Bell Challenge” featured 100 contestants representing different grades, with questions revolving around knowledge of books and reading culture.

At the end of the programme, the organising committee awarded first, second, and third prizes to outstanding contestants in the “Golden Bell Challenge,” and presented one first, one second, and two third prizes to teams in the artistic book arrangement contest.

On this occasion, the provincial Youth Activity Centre also presented 24 gifts to disadvantaged students at the school.

The programme aimed to respond to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day (April 21), thereby promoting reading culture, inspiring a love for books among young people, and creating a healthy and useful playground for students.
