At the scientific seminar themed “Digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence in vocational education.”
The seminar drew wide participation of experts, scientists and delegates from more than 30 member institutions of ATEC, along with universities and colleges in the province and the wider northwestern region. The organising committee received 15 papers from ATEC member schools, as well as non-member institutions.

The presentations were divided into two groups: those on school governance and the application of AI, and the others on implementing digital competency frameworks for learners. Notable among them included “Digital school solutions at Son La College – system model and implementation roadmap”; “Digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence – a driver of comprehensive innovation in vocational education at Hanoi Mechanical Vocational Intermediate School No. 1”; “Integrating artificial intelligence into vocational education – opportunities, challenges and proposed implementation models aligned with labour market demands”; “Implementing digital competency frameworks for students in vocational education at Son La College”; and “Digital competency frameworks for learners in vocational education at Dien Bien College.”

The seminar not only affirmed the pioneering role of Son La College in embracing new technologies, but also opened up opportunities for strategic and sustainable cooperation among vocational education institutions nationwide. Insights shared and connections forged at the event are expected to help shape a flexible, modern and integrated vocational education community, contributing to meeting socio-economic development requirements in the new period.
