The 2023 "In the homeland of A Phu couple" festival opened in Hong Ngai commune, Bac Yen district on November 3 evening.

Son La province greeted 400,000 visitors and earned over 785 billion VND (32 million USD) from accommodation, catering, tourism, travel and other services in October, an increase of more than 17% over the same period last year.

Many tourist destinations in Son La province have used friendly materials to minimise environmental impacts, as well as protected and developed cultural values ​​and natural landscapes in a long-term and sustainable fashion, towards green tourism.

In the past nine months of 2023, Moc Chau district hosted nearly 1.6 million tourists, three times higher than the figure in the same period last year, earning 1.68 trillion VND (68.5 million USD).

With its special deliciousness, ‘tan’ sticky rice in Ngoc Chien commune, Muong La district has become a 4-star OCOP (one commune one product) product of Son La province.
