Muong La Hawthorn Flower Festival 2024: Agricultural, cultural products on display

Within the framework of the Son Tra (Hawthorn) Flower Festival 2024, agricultural and cultural products, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products of Muong La district and affiliated and adjacent districts were displayed and introduced to visitors on March 9 afternoon in Ngoc Chien commune.

Booths attract a large number of visitors.

There were 18 booths introducing tourism, culture, and agricultural products, typical and OCOP products of businesses and cooperatives of Muong La and Bac Yen districts of Son La province, and Mu Cang Chai and Tram Tau districts of Yen Bai province.

Tourists visit a stall selling the humpback carp of Ngoc Chien Fisheries Cooperative.

Products bear unique characteristics of each locality. Typical among them were hawthorn tea, Muong Bu jackfruit, Ngoc Chien humpback carp of Muong La district; black cardamom, Hang Chu wine, Ta Xua tea, Lang Cheu peanuts, Muong Khoa garlic and Xim Vang sticky rice of Bac Yen district; natural flower honey products, Pung Luong Shan Tuyet tea and Cao Pha tan sticky rice of Mu Cang Chai district; and Phinh Ho Shan Tuyet tea, Lau Cay sticky rice, bamboo shoots processed with chili, and lemongrass essential oil of Tram Tau district.

The display offered an opportunity for businesses, cooperatives, and business households to promote and introduce their potential and OCOP products to a large number of tourists and consumers inside and outside the province, contributing to promoting production, business, and consumption.
