4,000 tourists flock to Phu Yen on five-day holidays

More than 4,000 tourists visited Phu Yen district on the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day holidays, from April 27 to May 1.

The Ban Nhot forest historical relic site – the Temple dedicated to General Vo Nguyen Giap in Gia Phu commune, Phu Yen district.

The main attractions include the Ban Nhot (Nhot hamlet) forest historical relic site - the Temple dedicated to General Vo Nguyen Giap in Gia Phu commune, Noong Cop pine forest in Quang Huy commune; and Suoi Chieu Lake in Muong Thai commune.

The Ban Nhot forest historical relic site – the Temple dedicated to General Vo Nguyen Giap alone lured over 2,000 tourists.

The district People's Committee directed restaurants and lodging facilities to strictly comply with price-related regulations, and ensure food hygiene and safety, environmental hygiene, and fire prevention and control.

Competent forces were asked to work harder to ensure security, and traffic order and safety at tourist attractions.

The district also mobilised youth union members to regularly clean up roads and tourist sites.

The management board of the Ban Nhot forest historical relic site has assigned personnel to welcome visitors on the holidays, helping them understand more about the historical significance of the site./.
