The “All people join hands in safeguarding national security” movement has been widely implemented in the district in recent years, and has had a strong influence, with the participation of a large number of local people.
Since the beginning of this year, locals have provided many reports on crimes related to security and order, helping the police force investigate 84 cases. The district has formed and maintained the effective operation of more than 1,370 self-managed inter-family groups with 4,110 members; 180 people's security teams; 180 mediation teams; 190 youth volunteer teams; 190 firefighting ones and many other mass models. Twelve out of the 13 rural communes are assessed to have met the criterion number "19.2 - security and order" in the new-style rural criteria set.
On this occasion, the provincial Department of Public Security and the district People's Committee presented the certificates of merit to six collectives and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement. The Standing Board of the district Party Committee awarded the certificates of merit to three Party organisations and three Party members; and the district People's Committee granted the certificates of merit to two collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in detecting special criminal cases.
