Thuan Chau writing camp cultivates talent

The Thuan Chau district People’s Committee on March 10 opened a writing camp themed “Thuan Chau – a journey of development”.

At the opening ceremony of the camp.

The camp will run for 40 days, from March 10 to April 20, bringing together 27 members of the provincial Union of Literature and Arts. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their skills in literature, poetry, photography, fine arts, and music.

During the camp, the organisers will arrange visits to Chieng Pha and Phong Lai communes, as well as Co Ma, Muong Bam, and Liep Te communes around the Da River reservoir area. These trips allow participants to gain firsthand experience, explore historical sites and landscapes, learn about economic development models, and immerse themselves in the unique cultural values of Thuan Chau’s land and people, providing valuable inspiration for their works.

A leader of Thuan Chau district speaks at the opening ceremony.

The camp holds profound significance as it commemorates the 76th founding anniversary of the district Party Organisation (December 1, 1949 - 2025) and the 73rd anniversary of the district’s liberation (November 21, 1952 - 2025). It serves as a platform to promote national pride, patriotism, and the tradition of solidarity, thus contributing to Thuan Chau’s development.
