Accompanying him were Trang Thi Xuan, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People's Committee, and leaders of relevant provincial departments and agencies.
According to a report from the provincial Department of Construction, due to prolonged heavy rainfall, at around 10pm on July 26, multiple landslides occurred from Km 102 to Km 106 along the national highway, causing localised traffic congestion. At 5am on July 27, landslides continued at Km 95 to Km 96 of the same highway. The extended stretch of landslide-affected sections has led to complete traffic paralysis.
Currently, the Department of Construction and local authorities have mobilised all available machinery and equipment to deal with the incidents.

He also directed traffic to be rerouted and the public to be warned against entering blocked areas.
In addition, due to ongoing heavy rain and rising river levels, he called on local Party committees, authorities, and relevant forces to continue identifying high-risk landslide areas, evacuate residents to safe locations, and promptly support affected families.
