Deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs Nguyen Huu Dong places a basket of flowers at the monument of President Ho Chi Minh and northwestern ethnic groups.
They also offered incense at the Uncle Ho Temple within the Northwest Square and the martyrs' cemetery at the Son La Prison, and commemorated the fallen heroes imprisoned there. On this occasion, they visited and presented gifts to revolutionary veterans and families of war invalids in the province.
Joining the delegation were Dang Van Dung, deputy head of commission; and Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; among other officials.


The delegation offers incense at the Uncle Ho Temple within the Northwest Square.
At the monument and temple, the officials expressed deep respect and profound gratitude for immense contributions by President Ho Chi Minh - a genius leader, a great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, an eminent soldier of the international communist and workers’ movements, and a distinguished man of culture.



At the cemetery and the memorial house dedicated to the martyrs of the Son La Prison, the delegation expressed deep gratitude to the generations of predecessors who bravely fought and sacrificed their lives for the cause of national independence and freedom.
They pledged to honour the great contributions of revolutionary forerunners, uphold the tradition of solidarity, overcome challenges, and work towards building a more prosperous and thriving homeland.

They also visited Ha Van Thu, a veteran revolutionary in Giang Lac hamlet, and war invalid Lo Van Song in 10 Chieng Le residential area, To Hieu ward.

The officials extended warm regards and inquired about the health of the veteran revolutionaries and war invalids, expressing deep gratitude for their immense contributions to national defence.
They expressed hope that the veterans and war invalids would continue to set exemplary standards in upholding the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws, serving as role models for younger generations.
They also called on local Party committees and authorities to further improve material and spiritual care for families of war invalids, martyrs, and those with meritorious service to the revolution, and to effectively carry out policies of gratitude in the locality.
