Digital citizenship is an important element to form and develop a digital society in the current digital transformation cause. In Son La province, digital citizenship is gradually developing in a comprehensive manner, with specific difficulties of a mountainous province solved to help people master technology and apply it to serve their lives, thus gradually meeting the requirements of the digital society.

The provincial Culture and Cinema Center on October 16 opened a photo exhibition entitled "Women of Son La province in today's life" as part of activities to celebrate the 93rd founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20).

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province (VFF Son La) on October 16 held a ceremony to launch a campaign in support of the "For the Poor" Fund in 2023.

The youth union in Son La province in coordination with the cluster of youth unions of Red River Delta cities and provinces on September 27 inaugurated a project named “Anh dang ban lang” (village lights) in the youth start-up village in Pung Banh commune, Sop Cop district.

On September 26, Son La Newspaper coordinated with Bo Sinh commune in Song Ma district to hand over 20 million VND (820 USD), donated by Dong Nai Newspaper, to Luong Van Sua's family in Pat hamlet to help him build a house.

The youth union and trade union of Son La Newspaper, in collaboration of Bo Sinh commune’s youth union, on September 26 held the 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival for children at Huoi Tinh facility of Hoa Phuong Do kindergarten in Bo Sinh commune, Song Ma district.

Since the beginning of 2023, Song Ma district’s Agricultural Service Centre has coordinated with relevant units to organise seven training classes and 172 dissemination sessions guiding local farmers how to plant and care for Queen pineapple, collect pesticide packaging, prevent pests, diseases and cold for plants and animals, and take care of longan and mango after harvest. These activities have benefited 7,095 local people.

Over the past eight months, Son La province mobilized 60.8 billion VND (2.5 million USD) to support 1,129 poor and near-poor households with housing difficulties. Of these, 12 households had their existing houses repaired and 1,117 others were given new houses.
