Son La city honours outstanding collectives, individuals

Son La city on February 3 held a Lunar New Year (Tet) gathering where standout collectives and individuals were honoured. The event was attended by Ha Trung Chien, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the city People's Council.

Last year, the city continued to promote patriotic emulation movements across all fields. These movements were significantly renovated, proving to be practical and effective, and attracted widespread participation from officials, civil servants, public employees, armed forces, and people of all ethnic groups in the locality. This created a strong driving force, contributing to the successful fulfillment of political and socio-economic development tasks for the green, rapid, sustainable development of Son La city.

In 2024, the city had two collectives awarded the Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister, while one collective and three individuals received the certificates of merit from the Prime Minister. Additionally, seven collectives were awarded the Emulation Flag by the provincial People’s Committee, 10 collectives received the title of “Outstanding Labour Collective,” four individuals were honoured as provincial-level “Emulation Fighters”, and 18 collectives, along with 22 individuals, received the certificates of merit from the Chairperson of the provincial People’s Committee.

On this occasion, Son La city honoured 38 collectives and 51 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the construction and development of the locality in 2024.
