Students, teachers of Son La High School for the Gifted pay tribute to Uncle Ho

Students and teachers of the Son La High School for the Gifted paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at a temple dedicated to the late leader in Son La city on February 5.

Representatives of the provincial Department of Education and Training and teachers and students of the Son La High School for the Gifted pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his temple.

They expressed their respect for President Ho Chi Minh's immense contributions to the nation's glorious revolutionary cause and reported their achievements to him.

In 2024, the teachers and students of the Son La High School for the Gifted achieved remarkable results across various fields. The school had 267 students winning awards at provincial competitions for excellent students, 34 earning prizes at national competitions, and 38 receiving awards at a competition held in Hai Duong province for high schools for the gifted in the Red River Delta and coastal regions. Additionally, 51 students won medals at the 18th Hung Vuong Summer Camp in Hoa Binh province, and 15 were awarded prizes at the 2024–2025 Vietnam National University High School Olympic Exam.

The school's high school graduation rate reached 100%, with 366 out of 370 students admitted to domestic universities. The school was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister for its excellence in education and training, leading the patriotic emulation movement in Son La province in the 2023–2024 academic year.
