"Spring of Love – Tet Gathering" programme targets blind people
The provincial Association of the Blind on January 23 coordinated with sponsors to organise the "Spring of Love – Tet Gathering" programme, during which they presented 60 gifts, worth 1 million VND (39.8 USD) each, to members and blind people in the province.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2025, the association presented nearly 1,200 Tet gifts to its members and blind people across the province, with a total value of 350 million VND (13,928 USD). Of the total, 155 million VND was donated by businesses and individuals, and the rest came from the local budget.
Association members receive Tet gifts from representatives of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
This is an activity of the provincial association when every Tet comes, helping members in difficult circumstances to have a warmer Tet holiday, and encouraging them to strive to improve their lives.

This is one of 13 inter-level schools being built in Son La province under the Politburo’s Conclusion No. 81-TB/TW regarding the investment in the construction of schools for border communes.
