In 2024, the traffic safety and order situation in Muong La was kept stable, with no illegal racing or prolonged traffic congestion. Traffic accidents continued to be controlled and reduced, with no particularly serious cases.

With the theme "Safe journey builds up the future", in 2025, the district Traffic Safety Committee requested agencies, units, and socio-political organisations to promote their roles and responsibilities, and concertedly carry out solutions to ensure traffic safety and order. In particular, attention must be paid to promoting dissemination and education on traffic safety and order to people of all classes in a practical and effective manner; and mobilsing them to practice a civilised traffic lifestyle, and form a habit of voluntarily and strictly complying with the provisions of the law on traffic safety and order. The relevant forces will increase patrols, strictly handle violations of traffic safety and order, as well as acts that are the direct causes of traffic accidents.

After the launching ceremony, the forces marched in response to the Traffic Safety Year 2025 on national highways and provincial roads passing through the centre of Muong La district.
