A total of 67 units in Son La province have received the provincial learning status under decisions recently issued by the provincial People’s Committee.

The Son La provincial Steering Committee for Blood Donation, in collaboration with the People's Committee of Song Ma district, has organised the 2025 voluntary blood donation festival.

Healthcare facilities in Son La province delivered medical examinations and treatment for over 95,000 people in February, meeting the public's healthcare needs. Of them, more than 15,300 received inpatient care.

The provincial Youth Union on March 9 commenced the construction of a cultural house for the Khang ethnic community in Nam Gion commune, Muong La district.

As part of the "Border March" programme, the Youth Union of Hanoi’s Gia Lam district on March 7 presented gifts to its counterpart in Bac Yen district, Son La province, as well as local advantaged students.

The Red Cross Society of Son La province on February 26 coordinated with the Mai Son district Medical Centre to provide free health check-ups, consultations and medicine for 200  poor people, policy beneficiaries, the elderly, those who rendered service to the revolution, and victims of Agent Orange in Muong Chanh and Chieng Chung communes.
