In a hypothetical situation, an electricity system failure causes a fire in the hall of the Department of Health, the power was quickly cut off in the entire area where the fire occurred, and the incident was notified to the firefighting and rescue police force. At the same time, on-site forces were mobilised to move supplies and assets near the fire to prevent it from spreading to the surrounding areas; rescue people suffering from smoke inhalation and toxic gas; and use on-site firefighting equipment to extinguish the fire.

Upon receiving the information, the desk deployed two fire trucks, along with 15 officers and equipment to the scene, and coordinated with the local firefighting force to move assets and rescue people trapped in the fire, and control and extinguish the fire.

The exercise helped the Department of Health’s staff clearly understand how to stamp out a fire and rescue others when a fire or explosion occurs.
