At the event, participants were informed about the Law on Legal Aid and guiding documents, as well as policies regarding legal aid for ethnic minorities and mountainous communities. The attendees also discussed legal scenarios and successful legal aid cases, and exchanged views on issues arising in implementing legal aid activities.

Through this conference, commune officials, village leaders, reputable community members, and grassroots-level personnel were better equipped to help residents access quality legal aid services in their localities.
