Outstanding elderly women in building wealthy, happy families honoured

The provincial Women's Union on October 22 coordinated with the provincial Association of the Elderly to organise a conference to honour outstanding elderly women in building cultural, wealthy and happy families.

 

Outstanding elderly women in building cultural, wealthy, happy families are honoured.

Over the years, the two organisations have successfully implemented a coordination programme dated December 9, 2022 on organising activities to support elderly women in the 2022-2027 period. Following the campaign "Building a family of 5 nos, 3 cleans", and the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women in a new era", many elderly women have promoted the role of "Old age - bright example" in various areas of social life, spreading the good tradition of Vietnamese women who are industrious, creative, patient, and hard-working.

Leaders of the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation and the provincial Women's Union present gifts to outstanding elderly women.

At the event, the two units presented gifts and flowers to 54 outstanding elderly women; and granted flowers to congratulate four delegates to the national-level conference. The provincial Women's Union also gave the certificates of merit to 25 elderly women with outstanding achievements in building cultural, wealthy, and happy families.
