The provincial Party Committee held a conference on June 16 to announce a decision to merge and reorganise Son La Newspaper and Son La Radio & Television Station to form new Son La Newspaper, which operates under the provincial Party Committee; along with decisions on personnel transfers, assignments and appointments.

The Son La provincial Radio & Television Station opened the 27th Son La provincial Radio and Television Festival 2025 on June 14.
