The project is currently being implemented in its second phase. At present, departments and agencies that are members of the steering committee for the renovation and promotion of the values of the Co Noi Crossroads historical relic site (Steering Committee 1956) have actively coordinated in carrying out assigned tasks, and construction of project components is proceeding as scheduled.

Specifically, the design and construction project for displaying documents and artifacts at the Co Noi Crossroads historical relic exhibition house and the site’s outdoor spaces have been developed. The collection and retrieval of artifacts from localities for exhibition purposes is underway, while coordination is being strengthened with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Central Committee’s Project Management Board to accelerate the construction of the Spiritual Tower project, with the HCYU Central Committee as the investor.

In addition, compensation and support plans for households within the project area under the committee’s investment have been approved; and support plans for relocation, along with investment in the construction of two resettlement sites for affected households under projects invested by the Mai Son commune People’s Committee, have also been approved.

Public communication on the significance and historical value of the site continues to be strengthened, including communication related to planning, land clearance, and investment in the construction of project components in Phase II, as well as the organisation of “return-to-the-roots” activities and historical tradition education at the site.

The delegation conducted on-site inspections of construction progress of project components, held direct exchanges with contractors, assessed implementation progress, and provided feedback on solutions to address difficulties and bottlenecks, while accelerating construction in line with the approved schedule.

Based on the on-site inspection, Chien requested relevant departments and agencies strengthen coordination in implementing assigned tasks; focus on resolving difficulties in land recovery, compensation, site clearance, and resettlement; promptly advise competent authorities on adjustments and capital allocation for project implementation; and enhance inspection and supervision throughout the project implementation process, thus ensuring strict compliance with legal regulations and the established timeline.
