Meeting reviews State-level commendations for 2025

Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, and Chairman of the provincial Emulation and Commendation Council, on April 6 chaired a meeting to review nominations for State-level commendations for 2025.

At the meeting, a representative from the council’s standing body presented appraisal results, submissions, and the list of nominees for commendations recognising their long-term contributions and outstanding achievements in 2025. Based on established criteria, council members discussed, evaluated, and voted to approve a list comprising one collective and 89 individuals.

Specifically, the council proposed awarding the Second-Class Labour Order to two individuals, the Third-Class Labour Order to 10 individuals, the Government’s Emulation Flag to one collective, and the Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to 77 individuals.

In his concluding remarks, the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee requested the council’s standing body to finalise documentation and procedures for submission to higher authorities in accordance with regulations.

He also emphasised that in the coming period, emulation and commendation work should continue to innovate in both content and methods to ensure practicality and effectiveness. 

Commendations must be timely, compliant with regulations, and oriented toward grassroots levels, he stressed, adding greater efforts should be made to promote exemplary models to create broader social impact. 

The evaluation process must ensure accuracy, merit, and persuasiveness, thereby fostering motivation to fulfill the province’s socio-economic development tasks, Viet noted.
