Attending the meeting were Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, along with members of the provincial Emulation and Commendation Council.
At the meeting, a representative from the council’s standing body presented appraisal results, submissions, and the list of nominees for commendations recognising their long-term contributions and outstanding achievements in 2025. Based on established criteria, council members discussed, evaluated, and voted to approve a list comprising one collective and 89 individuals.
Specifically, the council proposed awarding the Second-Class Labour Order to two individuals, the Third-Class Labour Order to 10 individuals, the Government’s Emulation Flag to one collective, and the Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to 77 individuals.
In his concluding remarks, the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee requested the council’s standing body to finalise documentation and procedures for submission to higher authorities in accordance with regulations.
He also emphasised that in the coming period, emulation and commendation work should continue to innovate in both content and methods to ensure practicality and effectiveness.
Commendations must be timely, compliant with regulations, and oriented toward grassroots levels, he stressed, adding greater efforts should be made to promote exemplary models to create broader social impact.
The evaluation process must ensure accuracy, merit, and persuasiveness, thereby fostering motivation to fulfill the province’s socio-economic development tasks, Viet noted.
