NA Standing Committee's Ombudsman Commission Vice Chairman presents gifts to labourers in Son La

Lo Viet Phuong, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Ombudsman Commission, on January 29 visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged trade union members and labourers in Son La province.

At the event, held in Moc Chau district, Phuong handed over 100 gifts, each worth 1.3 million VND (53 USD), to needy labourers who are trade union members of Moc Chau and Van Ho districts, and of the industry and trade, and agriculture and rural development sectors. The provincial Federation of Labour also presented 55 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to underprivileged workers in Moc Chau.

Phuong hailed contributions by trade union members and labourers to the province’s achievements in 2023, and stressed that the Party and the State always pay attention to their spiritual and material life.

The legislator asked them to make greater efforts to overcome difficulties and accompany enterprises for sustainable development, as well as build a strong Vietnamese working class.
