The event, connected to 12 venues across the province, was attended by leaders of the provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Board and the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, as well as representatives from provincial departments and agencies. It also gathered 430 outstanding youth union members, representing over 61,000 young people in the province.
At the dialogue, youth union members expressed their aspirations, proposals, and recommendations, focusing on the following issues: policies to encourage the development of agriculture, farm economy, and agricultural cooperatives; policies and solutions to connect scientists, businesses, and investors with youth; ways to support young people in accessing loans to start their businesses; directions for youth and how to identify startup goals in line with the strengths of each locality.
During the event, the provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments directly responded to 12 questions raised by youth union members. Their concerns and recommendations were mostly handled. To ensure complete, accurate, and thorough answers, the Department of Home Affairs will coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to publish the questions and responses on the provincial People's Committee’s portal for youth and the public to follow.
In his closing remarks, Cong urged leaders of Party committees and authorities at all levels, and heads of departments to increase direct dialogues with youth, promptly responding to their recommendations and proposals. Based on this, concrete solutions should be devised to improve the quality of Party committees’ leadership and governance.
He also called on the chairpersons of district- and commune-level People's Committees to organize at least one dialogue with youth annually, thus collecting feedback, delivering specific solutions, and improving the quality of Party committees, and management and administration of local governments. This also aims to create opportunities for youth to participate in socio-economic development programmes in the province.
