During the 2023-2024 academic year, the district Division of Education and Training organised and participated in 13 competitions, including three for teachers and 10 for students.

Two schools were awarded provincial emulation flags, and 26 teachers recognised as provincial-level outstanding educators. The district People's Committee also commended a total  of 64 exemplary collectives and 1,641 individuals. Eleven secondary school students won the title of “provincial excellent students”. At the primary level, 180 students won prizes in the national mathematics and literature competition.

Additionally, two students brought home prizes and two schools earned collective awards in district-level competitions for grades 6, 7, and 8. Up to 29 projects from middle and high school students competed in the district-level science and technology research competition, with 11 winning awards. At the provincial level, 10 projects advanced to the competition, where three earned top honours.

On this occasion, the district People's Committee commended 37 teachers and 100 students for their outstanding achievements during the 2023-2024 academic year.
