The head of the provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Board delivers remarks at the working session.
At the session, leaders of the provincial Party Committee’s Organisation Board reported the results of self-inspection on the organisation and operation of local agencies and units following the implementation of the two-tier local government model. Since July 1, 2025, the board has advised the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board on deploying and operating the two-level local government system. As part of this process, 200 communes and 12 districts, towns, and city were reorganised and merged into 75 communes and wards.
The board has also advised the issuance of a conclusion on staffing allocations for Party agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front committees, and socio-political organisations at both provincial and commune levels for 2026. It has strengthened the assignment of provincial-level officials to commune-level leadership positions and ensured that 100% of key positions, including heads of provincial and communal inspection boards, the provincial chief inspector, and commune-level Party secretaries, are not held by local residents.
In addition, the board has directed personnel planning for the 16th provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term, and managed the transfer and rotation of officials under provincial Party Committee oversight following the National Assembly and People’s Council election for the 2026–2031 term.
