Attending the incense-offering ceremony were Hoang Van Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Lo Minh Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; Cha A Cua, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; and former provincial leaders; among others.
At the Ho Chi Minh Temple, in a solemn atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered incense, expressing boundless gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. Before his spirit, officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups in Son La pledged to stay united; promote the campaign to study and follow the ideology, morality, and style of President Ho Chi Minh; to uphold strong political determination to overcome all difficulties and excellently fulfill the tasks entrusted by the Party and the people.
At the Son La Prison Martyrs’ Cemetery, provincial leaders and delegates laid flowers and offered incense to remember the heroic sacrifices of martyrs, comrades, and compatriots who bravely gave their lives for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
Remembering the noble sacrifices of previous generations, the Party Committee, government, armed forces, and people of all ethnic groups in Son La vow to continue promoting revolutionary traditions, unity, and creativity; to successfully achieve socio-economic development and national defence–security goals. They are determined to build Son La into a green, fast, and sustainable province, worthy of the sacrifices of the martyrs.
