Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Viet chaired a meeting with outstanding enterprises, cooperatives, households in coffee production, processing and sale in the province on June 9.

The Son La provincial Federation of Labour held the opening ceremony of the Workers’ Sports Festival 2025 on June 7. The event features the participation of 18 teams with a total of 288 athletes who are officials, workers, and employees from various agencies, units, and enterprises across the province.

Over 17,800 candidates in Son La province are taking the high school entrance exam for the 2025-2026 academic year, with Literature in the morning, and Mathematics in the afternoon of June 1. Both lasted 120 minutes.

The Hanoi Medical University Hospital, in collaboration with the Moc Chau General Hospital, held a scientific conference for satellite hospitals themed “Improving the Quality of Primary Healthcare: Current Situation and Solutions” in Moc Chau township on May 31.

The Yen Chau Mango Festival 2025 officially opened in Kha hamlet, Sap Vat commune, Yen Chau district on May 30. The event featured the awarding of the certificates recognising Vietnam Heritage Trees.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Hong Minh on May 28 inspected the progress of the project to renovate and upgrade the road connecting National Highway 37 in Bac Yen district with National Highway 279D in Muong La district.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Le Hong Minh on May 27 inspected the progress of the road project from Sub-area 26/3 in Co Noi commune to Sub-area 10 in Hat Lot commune. He also held a working session with Mai Son district leaders regarding state budget collection and public investment disbursement.

The department for building the movement to protect national security under the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with the Son La provincial Department of Public Security, held a conference on May 27 to review, evaluate, and commend outstanding models and individuals in building the “All People Protect National Security” movement and in mass mobilisation efforts of the Son La police force.
