The “Border guard spring warms hearts of border residents” programme, jointly held by border guard stations and partner units under the direction of the provincial Border Guard Command, has featured many meaningful activities for welcoming the Lunar New Year (Tet), bringing joy to residents living in border areas.

As the Year of the Snake is knocking on the door, and the bustling atmosphere has come to the hamlets of Muong La district, people are excited to participate in meaningful and practical early Tet activities and programmes, making the spring in the mountainous areas complete and warm.

The provincial Association of the Blind on January 23 coordinated with sponsors to organise the "Spring of Love – Tet Gathering" programme, during which they presented 60 gifts, worth 1 million VND (39.8 USD) each, to members and blind people in the province.

The Ministry of Education and Training has announced the results of the National Excellent Student Exam for the 2024-2025 academic year, with 34 representatives from Son La obtaining awards.
