The provincial Youth Union on December 9 hosted a forum fostering friendship and opposing school violence at the provincial continuing education centre. The event brought together 370 high school students.

The Son La provincial Youth Union, in collaboration with the Can Tho city Youth Union, is organising the “Can Tho youth with people in Son La’s mountainous areas” journey from December 7-10 in Chieng Khay commune, Quynh Nhai district, in response to the Volunteer Programmes for Winter 2024 and Spring 2025.

After more than three years of implementing the National Target Programme for socio-economic development in ethnic minority inhabited and mountainous areas in the 2021-2030 period - Phase I from 2021-2025 (Programme 1719), infrastructure in rural areas across Son La province has been gradually improved, enhancing both the material and spiritual lives of local people, thus helping the areas meet new-style rural area building criteria.
