At the event, 40 companies, units, businesses, and training institutions introduced recruitment needs, vacancies, and policies for workers. Some universities and colleges also delivered career guidance for students and workers and advise them to choose occupations suitable to their abilities and strengths to have more job opportunities after graduation.
Qualified workers had a chance to sign labour contracts directly with businesses located in Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Bac Giang and Vinh Phuc. Those who want to find a job or study abroad in Japan, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Germany, Australia and Canada were guided by the units to prepare a registration form and complete necessary documents and procedures.
The job fair served as a bridge connecting businesses with workers looking for jobs as well as schools with students, thus helping youth union members and young people set up their careers. It also helped workers, especially those from poor and near-poor households and soldiers who finish military service, find better jobs in the future.
