In this academic year, the district has 22 teachers winning prizes at the provincial excellent preschool teacher contest; 86 teachers recognised as excellent primary and secondary school head teachers at the district level; 56 as excellent high school teachers at the district level; 1,879 students winning prizes at different contests at the provincial and district levels. At the provincial Phu Dong Sports Games, Song Ma ranked fourth overall with 27 medals of all kinds. There were six athletes participating in the Phu Dong Sports Games - Region I in Phu Tho province, of whom three won medals.

On this occasion, the district People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to three collectives, 170 teachers and students with outstanding achievements at the provincial- and district-level competitions organised by the education and training sector.
