The job fair attracted 26 businesses, employers, training facilities and nearly 3,000 workers, youth union members, young people and high school students in the district. They arranged 26 booths introducing recruitment needs, vacancies, and policies for workers.
Local workers and students looking for jobs; and international students from Japan, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, and Europe were interviewed, given career counseling, and guided by businesses to prepare documents and complete procedures for labour export and overseas study.
The event enabled workers to directly contact with recruiters and helped them have more choices and opportunities to find jobs suitable to their conditions, abilities, and health. They also had the opportunity to meet and discuss jobs directly with representatives of businesses and schools to choose a suitable career, contributing to reducing unemployment and underemployment rates of locals, thus helping with hunger eradication and poverty reduction in the locality.
