The cooperative has cultivated three hectares of vegetables, strictly following the VietGAP process in all stages, with an average annual income of 450-500 million VND (18,420-20,460 USD) per hectare. It has encouraged ethnic minority groups to contribute 5 hectares of rice fields for the cultivation of clean vegetables, achieving an average income of 200 million VND (8,190 USD) per hectare per year. The cooperative has signed a safe vegetable supply contract with the Metro supermarket chain.

For fruit trees, the cooperative has taken the pioneering role in the research of temperate fruit tree varieties, using grafting techniques. It has an incubator of plant varieties, including early-ripening plum with high economic value. Furthermore, the cooperative has provided technical advice and signed sales contracts with its member households and others, with a combined volume of 800-1,000 tonnes of various agricultural products each year. Its annual revenue stands at about 6-7 billion VND, and each member household earns 400 million VND per hectare each year. The average monthly income of each labourer ranges from 6.5 million to 8.5 million VND.

In addition, the cooperative has invested in equipment and technologies to process such products as plum wine, plum jam, and dried plum. Currently, it boasts six provincial-level “One Commune-One Product” (OCOP) products, of them three rated four stars and the others, three stars. Its products are available on online platforms, stores, and supermarkets. It is also running a chain of restaurants and lodging facilities connected to the production and processing area, creating a closed ecosystem in service of tourists.

With the aim of expanding production and promoting sustainable growth, the cooperative has further invested in modern infrastructure, machinery, and equipment. It has paid attention to the training of its members, labourers and farmers, while building an agricultural value chain through agri-tourism, bringing clean and safe products to consumers./.
