Doveco Son La purchases over 23,000 tonnes of agricultural products

After nearly eight months of operation, the Doveco Son La Fruit and Vegetable Processing Centre has purchased over 23,000 tonnes of agricultural products of all kinds for processing.

They include 10,000 tonnes of mango, 1,600 tonnes of pineapple, 6,200 tonnes of sweet corn, nearly 2,000 tonnes of passion fruit and nearly 3,000 tonnes of spinach.

The centre has created jobs for 500 workers, with an average salary of 9.6 million VND (395 USD) a person a month. In addition, it has also coordinated with localities to review land funds to build raw material areas for pineapple, passion fruit, sweet corn, spinach and soybeans.

To date, Doveco Son La has signed contracts with nearly 50 businesses, cooperatives, and cooperative groups to develop nearly 12,000 hectares of crops of all kinds.
