The support aims to assist them in rolling out the model of organic intensive coffee cultivation in 2023.
The model has been launched in Hun hamlet with the participation of 20 households. Invested by the provincial Farmers’ Union, it covers 10 hectares and has funding of 420 million VND (17,095 USD), of which 294 million VND comes from the State coffer, and 126 million VND from participating residents. The project is expected to last for three years, starting in 2023.
The union will organise more training courses, transfer techniques for organic coffee cultivation, and provide guidance to farmers on the proper use of fertilisers and pesticides, contributing to raising the quality of local coffee./.
