Moc Chau promotes culture, tourism, OCOP products

A range of culture, tourism and “One Commune-One Product” (OCOP) products, along with traditional foods of Moc Chau district and other localities were introduced at a space set up at the May 8 Square on May 17.

The event opened up a series of tourism promotion activities and the announcement of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s decision recognising the Moc Chau National Tourist Area.

 Visitors buy dried fruit products of the Quyet Thanh Cooperative in Moc Chau district. Dairy products of Moc Chau Dairy Cattle Breeding JSC are on display.

The display featured 20 booths introducing outstanding agricultural products of Moc Chau and Van Ho districts and some other localities in Son La, including OCOP items of the Moc Chau plateau like tea, milk and dried fruits, attracting crowds of local residents and visitors.

Leaflets on attractions at the Moc Chau National Tourist Area are distributed to visitors.

Besides, new tourism products and tours at the Moc Chau National Tourist Area were also spotlighted on this occasion.

Apart from promoting culture and tourism at the Moc Chau National Tourist Area, the event also contributed to promoting trade and connecting producers with customers, thus boosting the sale of local agro-aquatic products.
