Implementing policies to support cooperatives under the Government’s Decree No. 98/2018/ND-CP dated July 5, 2018 and resolutions and support policies of the People's Council of Son La province, since 2018, the district has provided nearly 4 billion VND (164,000 USD) for cooperatives to expand production and business activities.

At the same time, the district has coordinated with relevant units in organizing production technology transfer courses, helping farmer apply techniques and technologies to production to improve product quality.

Among 46 operating cooperatives, 20 agricultural cooperatives produce organic, clean and safe agricultural products under VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards, with labels, packaging, traceability stamps and geographical indications, thus improving the value of agricultural products.

They have guided farmers to apply scientific and technical advances and new technologies to production, while promoting linkages in production and business and raising farmers' incomes.
